Technology: Means of communication from the past and present.

People often say that technology subtly untangled us from the physical world. However, technology bridges our ideas to one another. It helps us to communicate and exchange insights that may help us in our respective living.


Now, Is there a difference in our ways of using technology before and the present?

People before usually write a letter which will be sent by a messenger to its destination. However, as the time pass by, a telegraph was invented by Samuel Morse in 1792. A telegraph is a system for transmitting messages from a distance along a wire, usually creating signals by marking and breaking an electrical connection. The telegraph truly changed the world because before telegraphs, the country was very isolated from other regions of the world. Thus, the social relationship before was only supported by letters or actual meeting and with the help of telegraph, the means of communication started to change up until now.

In contrary, people nowadays uses technology in a faster and easy way. Instead of writing letters and using telegraph, people would likely use a smartphone due to its features that fasten the communication. In addition, emails and social media bloomed which enables a faster communication. There are also other apps such as facebook, tweeter, viber., etc which greatly helped the people to reach one another across the globe. As technology upgraded over time, many innovatives took their opportunities to create different means of communication that would likely help the people to still be attached even of they are far from each other. Thus, through technology there is a global interaction among the people which strengthens the social relationships.

As a blogger, I had an informative experience in making this blog since I was able to browse many websites related to my topic and some of which are truly helpful. However, I don't have a laptop so I've only encoded this blog in my phone and it is amazing that I can share my ideas whenever and wherever I am, conveniently. Moreover, it is fun and informative and I just hope that many viewers will lend some of their time reading this blog.

Now, many of you might draw different comparisons between the past and present generation in terms of utilizing technology for communication, however one must always remember that we are evolving over time as well as our resources. Technology for communication in the past may not be as faster like most of our days now, however, it still did its responsibility which is to deliver the message and help the people reach each other. It is just that we are living in the 21st generation and had already developed and polish more the inventions from the past that makes our communication more faster and easier to manipulate.

As a blogger, I found this topic applicable for enculcating the people to always remember that our technologies from the past are one of the inspirations of our inventors nowadays. It is applicable for letting the millenials nowadays remember the past since it is what molded the present especially that most of the people in this generation tend to neglect and even forget the old ways of communication such as telegram, letters., etc. .
